FAQ for the Old People
Q: Old Person? What is that?
A: The role of Old Man/Woman is to serve as a mediator between the pledge class and the pledge trainer, as well as to act as a resource of information for the pledges. Without taking on roles of leadership or authority, the Old Person will take part in Pledge Trainer’s committee, updating PT on the status of the pledges. Old Person forfeits the benefits of active membership in order to integrate with the pledges, with the goal to unify the class as a whole.
Q: So you’re a pledge?
A: Essentially, yes.
HOWEVER–two actives are appointed as Old Person, one for each pledging quarter. The Old Person that is NOT pledging during a quarter acts as a secretary of sorts to the Pledge Trainer, helping to facilitate and overlook pledge activities.
Q: So what class are you?
A: BOTH!
Peter- Alpha Mu & Alpha Xi
Anders- Alpha Mu & Alpha Omicron
Q: Are you and Anders the sexiest people on E-board?
A: Why yes, yes we are.
